SenecaNET

This is how I've set up my Linux Mint 18 laptop to connect to SenecaNET. The process is actually the same as the older SeneNET-Extreme network. SenecaNET is not a hidden network but you clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything.

Steps to set it up:

  1. Left-click on the NetoworkManager icon. SenecaNET will show up in there but we don't want to use it.
  2. Click "Network Settings"
  3. Click "Connect to a Hidden Network"
    1. Network name: SenecaNET
    2. Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
    3. Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
    4. Anonymous identity: leave this empty
    5. CA certificate: none
    6. Check "No CA certificate is required"
    7. PEAP version: automatic
    8. Internal authentication: MSCHAPv2
    9. Username/password: your seneca credentials
