Project Description

JBoss is a Java middleware project with a large number of sub projects. Packaging JBoss and maintaining them is a challenging task and would require several weeks of full time work. Since OpenJDK and a number of Java components is already in Fedora 9, it should help get started.

Releases

0.1 Release

This release includes:

  • Initial dependency chart
  • Package submitted to Fedora to become a maintainer Bug 466301
  • Initial JBoss specfile which builds and installs JBoss. It is highly broken, doesn't have an init.d script, no symlinks, no javadocs, no manual. It is a work in progress

To do this I used some hacky scripts.

0.2 Release

TBD

My Fedora Bugs

  • 466301Review and sponsorship request for 'ario' package
  • 470703Review request for 'links'
  • 225725Bug to change something in a conflicting package (elinks)
