In prep lab you created a Linux Workstation. For the remainder of the labs and assignments in this course you will be using a terminal window to connect to instances on AWS, a cloud-based interface. NOTE: For prep lab you were not required to submit anything on Blackboard. However, you are required to take screenshots of all your work for the remainder of labs and assignments including lab 1. Confirm with your instructor if you are not sure which screenshots to capture. To connect to your instance (virtual machine) it has to be created first. Your instructor will setup an account for and once it is setup, you will receive an email from AWS:
