| Mddaniels || I agree with option one, there are plenty of times when you need the counters saved for use later in the function.

| Nsimmalavong || Agreed with fmDeOliveira, I prefer option 2 the same reasoning. Having amibiguous variables floating around can get confusing and we may just end up needing more than what the 26 letter alphabet provides (which results in some unique variables like a13). If the variable is needed after the loop, it should be copied into another variable before the end of loop
