Currently, I'm enrolled in the [http://zenit.senecac.on.ca/wiki/index.php/OSD700 OSD700 ] course involving open source developmentthe [http://www.mozilla.org/ Mozilla Project] and [http://www.opensource.org/ Open Source Development]. == Mozilla Project == Currently, my major Mozilla project involves creating a [http://zenit.senecac.on.ca/wiki/index.php/Localized_Search_in_Firefox_Search_Box Localized Search in Firefox's Search Box]. Firefox features a search box that can be customized to work with different search engines (e.g., Google, Yahoo!, Wikipedia, etc.). Most web sites have their own search facilities, but the location of the search box on the page varies from web site to web site. My project involves creating a mechanism for Firefox to detect a web site's search box and make it accessible to the user through Firefox's search box so that users have a consistent place to locate site-specific searches.
