- licences: - open source MIT licence: - 1) very short and simple - 2) the user can do what ever they want with the software: modify, upgrade, use, share with others - 3) the user may sell the software - Microsoft word 2010 licence: - 1) long and complicated - 2) can not sell the software - 3) Microsoft is not reliable about any damages that happen during running the software
