What The presentation was each given by Adrien Guillon, a graduate from University of Toronto, who is a computer scientist and a computer engineer, have a great deal of experience in C++. He has co founded 2 companies and is planning to move to on moving to New Zealand and starting a third company which produces HPC software. In his talk about?, he mentioned that there are no software patents in New Zealand, unlike how Microsoft has patented graphics computation a few months back.  He covered his experience in open source and his experience in OpenCL, what the big picture from his point of view is. His presentation concentrated on why software patents are fundamentally a bad thing in the programming world. He explained
