He has co founded 2 companies and is planning to move to on moving to New Zealand and starting a third company which produces HPC software. In his talk about?, he mentioned that there are no software patents in New Zealand, unlike how Microsoft has patented graphics computation a few months back. He covered his experience in open source and his experience in OpenCL, what the big picture from his point of view is.
