The presentation was given by Adrien Guillon, a graduate from University of Toronto, who is a computer scientist and a computer engineer, have a great deal of experience in C++. He has co founded 2 companies and is planning to move to on moving to New Zealand and starting a third company which produces HPC software. In his talk, he mentioned that there are no software patents in New Zealand, unlike how Microsoft has patented graphics computation a few months back.
