Anatoly Spektor (russian: Анатoлий Спектор) is a Blogger, Web Developer and Software Engineer. Currently enrolled in Seneca College of Art and Technology CPA (Computer Programming and Analysis Co-op), where he also works as a cop-op student in a position of a Web Developer. Anatoly is involved in several start-up web projects, that are planned to be launched in 2012. Combining business knowledge gained in university and current programming skills, Anatoly produces unique mix of creativity, time management, analytical and practical skills.

Blogging

Anatoly is known in the Russian Internet under many nicknames. His blogging and chatting career started in early 2000 with IRC nick Goldstar . In 2005 he opened his first blog in LiveJournal under nickname: Glamurny. Word "Glamurny" is derived from the word "glamorous". Blog audience is fashion and high-tech addicts, who are seeking information on latest fashion trends and technological inventions. Blog has more than 300 subscribers and is visited by one thousand people monthly.

Last few years Anatoly has became a frequent twitter blogger. In 2 years he has tweeted more than 1400 tweets. His bilingual twitter account (Russian and English) is public, so everyone can read his tweets without having to register in Twitter.




Being a huge cooking fan Anatoly is frequently posting pictures of dishes, restaurant reviews and recipes.

Also being an Apple corp. products addict, Anatoly shares interesting information on companies products in his twitter and livejournal blog.

In 2010 Anatoly opened his first professional blog: Anatoly's Programing Blog where he shares his programming experience. Blog is updated weekly




Project Involvement

One of the first, and most successful projects was Latvian Torrent Tracker Fat.lv. Together with the founder of Fat.lv Anatoly increased attendance of the website from hundred to ten thousand people daily, making [ http://fat.lv] second torrent tracker in Latvia by the amount of visitors and registered users.




In May 2009 Anatoly was involved as a Project Manager, Web Developer and Search Engine Optimizator in a Confidential Project, that gave him great insight in project development and web development techniques.




In January 2011 Anatoly, with his colleague from Seneca started project with code name Sparb




In September 2011 Anatoly started internship semester as a Web Developer in Seneca Center for Development of Open Technology, working on a collaborative project between Seneca and Big Blue Button on creating powerful online class management system.
