I am looking forward to seeing folks try this out!

Looks like Janet gets the prize for responding first! - thanks Janet!

I believe the "big prize" is the ability to collaborate online via a WIKI will help break log-jams which may stall highly technical projects or tasks...
If we contribute (large and small) consistently to this technology, then we ALL win...

What do you get for second place? Brian B.

The satisfaction for a job well done... and you just can't put a price on that... Actually, you get first prize from anyone participating in the discussion section! Murray S.

There's no second place, is there? I didn't read that in the manual. Jan

Hi Janet, I see your "pluse". I believe when people are trained to know when to use "page" and when to "discuss" and how frequently that should check or check their "watchlists", then communication will work...Murray

This will be great for keeping up to date on what everyone is working on. Wish I knew about this before I stared the CE Coordinator position. It would have saved a lot of time and emailing back and forth and people "forgetting" about the emails I had sent them. Perhaps the next coordinator will benefit from this. Sonja

I think when we have time is to have a strategy which individuals can "test-out" this tool, and which ones we train to use. There is a learning curve to be able to keep coming back to the WIKI and participate. Once that is done, and people are consistent, there should be no problem... Murray

Well excuse me Mr B ... but if there were a second prize, silver would go to the second response out of the gate. I'll give you honorary bronze though, even if it doesn't exist! EW

Actually, it does exist - Look at link below.... M. Saul

Earl, was wondering if you were available Friday Oct 1st, 2010 in the afternoon for WIKI training... (I'm going to try to finish 4th door at church in the morning)... M. Saul

Ok Brian, You can pick up your medal at the link above:) Murray, I'll have to let you know closer to the end of the week... and thanks! Plus could you tell me how much time we would need Fri morning, if I can do it.

Earl, Should only take 1 hour at the most... (maybe a few "follow-ups" later)... M. Saul

Well, it looks as though it's getting easier to use for folks! In regards to the communications problem, one solution would be to amend the document. I'll be giving Brian H a proposal in that regard. Earl, for me, it would be easier if the AVIT form was directly attached to the booking form. It's not often easy finding the document and to be honest, I dislike bothering busy people for one form... Thoughts on this? Jan
