  3. Basic Unix Commands: ls, cd, pwd, etc
  4. Unix Filesystem
  5. Shell Scripting: variables, functions, logical operators, and loops
  6. User and Group management
  7. Process and Package management
  8. Schedulling and Logging
  9. Basic Networking: ping, ip (ifconfig replacement)

Changes:

  • Dropped some networking concepts, such as setting up an Ethernet network
  • Dropped basic Linux Security (though security is mentioned throughout the course)
  • Introduced Shell Scripting
