MediaWiki sites can be duplicated in a number of ways. One good way, when access to the <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.merchantos.com <span style="color:black;font-weight:normal; text-decoration:none!important; background:none!important; text-decoration:none;">point of sale system</span>] local server is available is the use of the [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki#Database_dump dumpBackup.php script]. Dumps can then be imported using importDump.php. Both scrips are found in the mw maintenance/ dir.
